In nature, beehives are created not because the bees themselves are intelligent, but through the natural process of each contained chambers pushing one against the other, finding its optimum position and shape.

A self form finding surface tension membrane study has been carried out for this project in order to self-generate and optimized an enclosed shell surface, following the building methods that can be found in nature.

This project is about understanding and appreciating nature's method of designing and constructing its structures, a method that has been refined through evolutionary process.
